In 2008 ROLITRANS International introduced the TM 2500 “base unit” Lifting Kit System to Indonesia.
In 2011 the lifting kit was supplemented by a 2nd set comprising of the TM 2500 “plus unit” Lifting Kit
System accommodating GE’s advancement and re-design of it’s TM 2500 units. Both TM Lifting Kits
are a special lifting system designed to lift the General Electric (GE) TM 2500 Gas Turbine
on/off vessels.

While its design and components are proprietary for the lift of a GE TM 2500 Gas Turbine the main
spreader bars may be used for similar operations on other cargoes provided the weights are within
the Safe Working Load (SWL) of the individual kit components. The kit, originally designed
by GE in conjunction with Holloway (Houston), is GE approved for TM 2500 load-out
operations worldwide.

ROLITRANS is the only company in Asia having ownership of such lifting kits
and comes in conjunction with being the sole company in Indonesia, Singapore and Bangladesh
having successfully moved several GE TM 2500 Gas Turbines.
